CFE PTO has your holiday card solution
Would you think I’m crazy if I told you I’ve kept every holiday card we’ve received since 2016? 🫣 It’s true. I’m slightly obsessed with holiday cards.
It’s a far cry from my otherwise minimalist, not sentimental ways, and probably shocks those who know me IRL. But it’s not fake news, and I have the goods to prove it. 👇🏻

Every January, I punch a hole in the corner of each card we received during the recent holiday season and clasp them together with a metal ring. You can see it in the photo, so I’ll spare you the detailed explanation. It’s an easy, peasy DIY storage solution for holiday cards.
Now that we’re past Halloween, I’ll be ordering my 2025 holiday cards soon from … 🥁 drum roll please… Minted.
📢 When you use code FUNDRAISECFPTO at Minted during checkout, you’ll get 20% off your order, and Minted will donate 10% of your purchase to the Chadds Ford Elementary PTO. I mean, give 10% back to the Chadds Ford kiddos when I was going to order holiday cards anyway? No brainer! 💰
No, I don’t get a commission. This isn’t sponsored. Minted has no idea I’m writing about them.
I like the lovely ladies who run our elementary PTO and think it’s a simple way to invest in the kids in our community. It takes a village to make this child-rearing thing happen. When buying holiday cards is one way to make it easier for the parents down the street to do their thing, I’m game. Maybe you can be too!
Do you do holiday cards? They can be a lot of work and expensive, so I know it’s not for everyone. If they’re your thing, get them from Minted this year, use the PTO’s code to save yourself 20%, and do them a solid. 🎁
If you have friends or family who also love holiday cards, pass this post along. Anyone can use the code; no need to live in Chadds Ford or have students at the school. The more the merrier!
On a side note, I previously wrote a blog about sustainable living for families. It still lives on the big ol’ Internet, getting chewed up and spit out by AI bots (good times). I shared several ways to repurpose holiday cards. If you’re not into my lazy metal ring clasp option, maybe one of these alternatives will be your jam!
P.S. Like supporting Chadds Ford Elementary through community fundraising events? Don’t forget to add the annual Chadds Ford Art Show to your calendar for next spring (it’s March 14, 2026). It’s a long and storied event started by Betsy Wyeth more than 75 years ago, and it’s still going strong. Here’s a little reminder about last year’s big art show that celebrates local artists to support local kids.
