Chadds Ford, straight to your inbox.

Stay in the loop

I’m Jen Panaro, and I cover Chadds Ford.

Not from a distance; I live here. My kids go to school here. I show up at township meetings, walk the trails, eat at the local spots, and get to know many of my neighbors through conversations and connections on a multitude of topics.

I started Connect Chadds Ford because community journalism matters. I wanted to create a space that gave voice to transparency, accountability, connection, and delight, all with a focus on Chadds Ford and our surrounding area.

Throughout the week, I publish stories about local businesses, planning decisions, community events, and neighbors doing remarkable things. Once a week, I round up those stories (along with a listing of events and other nuggets you might want to know about what’s going on in the area) and send a newsletter straight to your inbox. No algorithms or infinite feeds to contend with.

This isn’t a daily news site or a megaphone for hot takes. It’s independent, community-first, and written by someone who actually has skin in the game.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, that’s the best place to start. The newsletter lands in your inbox weekly, free. Drop your email right there to sign up. 👇🏻

Be sure to pass along to a friend (or two or three) and encourage them to sign up, too. I can’t wait to connect about supporting our thriving community together.

Want to support local journalism in Chadds Ford? Paid subscriptions are available — no paywalls, just neighbors funding work they believe matters.

Got a tip or a story idea? Reply to any newsletter email or reach me at [email protected]. I read everything and appreciate hearing from neighbors.
