Calling all neighbors who want to see our kids thrive. I bet that’s you! 🫶🏻 Whether you have kids at Chadds Ford Elementary or not, you can help.

🔥 It’s time for a community activation.

Each year, the Chadds Ford Elementary PTO hosts an online auction to fund programs and resources for the school community.

In recent years, the PTO has funded all sorts of projects and programs from teacher grants for classrooms supplies and activities to new library furniture, a brand new playground, and an adored media lounge (my 5th grader loves it!). The PTO also funds community building activities like Buddy Breakfast and Read-a-thon events.

This year, all proceeds go towards the PTO’s $10,000 fundraising goal to benefit improvements to the Primary Outdoor Learning Space and next year’s PTO operating budget. The outdoor learning space is an integral part of the new full day kindergarten program starting in the fall, so now is a great time to spruce it up for the incoming class.

Not a CFE family? No problem!

Some auction items are Teacher Experiences, which will only be relevant to CFE families. But more than 30 auction items are community-focused, and anyone in the area might love them! You can find:

Chadds Ford dining gift cards from Brandywine Prime and Chadds Ford Tavern

The nitty gritty

The auction will be held online here. You need to create an account with 32 Auctions to participate. The online auction opens at 5pm on January 30 and closes at 8pm on February 1. Bid early, and bid often! 😉

This is an easy way to help make our school great for the kids in our neighborhoods and find something great for yourself at the same time.
