What’s that light blue sign for?
Two friends and readers of this newsletter asked me this week if I knew what’s “Coming Soon” on Route 1 near Chadds Ford Tavern. A light blue sign announcing “Chadds Ford Trails” entered the group chat.
Trails? Nope. Homes. 🏠 The 20-acre plot of land, located along Route 1, will be home to six new single-family houses. You can learn more about the project here.

🤳🏼Put down that phone
It’s not a local ordinance, but it has local implications. This week, a new Pennsylvania law took effect, which makes it illegal to use a handheld cell phone while driving. Even when you’re sitting at a red light. So, driver beware; no more browsing the ‘gram from behind the wheel!
