Harvey Run Trail + Brandywine Conservancy Trails
📍Harvey Run Trail – 10 Ring Rd Trailhead (Google Maps)
👣 Well-maintained grassy trails for Harvey Run. Paved and dirt paths around the Brandywine Conservancy property. Minimal elevation changes.
💚 The Chadds Ford Walking Club visited Harvey Run Trail last week, and it was a learning exploration for almost all of us. One resident led us to new paths that weave from the township building, around Brandywine Conservancy, under Route 1, and up to the Chadds Ford Historical Society. Did you know all those paths connect?! I had no idea.
Here’s a map of the various trails from the Brandywine Conservancy website. You can check it out yourself on their website. Then lace up your hiking boots and take a walk around town. You can even stop by Chadds Ford Coffee House or walk across the street to Oso Sweet after the hike to grab a drink or snack. Be sure to check their hours, because both places close around midafternoon.
Parking is available at the township building or behind the Chadds Ford Post Office building.

I’d love to get your recommendations and see photos of your hikes around the Brandywine Valley (or anything within about 60 minutes or so of Chadds Ford). If you’re willing to share your ideas and/or photos, reply to this newsletter to email them to me ([email protected]). If you send along photos, I’ll assume you’re ok with me sharing them in this newsletter unless you say otherwise. Thank you!!
