Dive into these stories!
Here are our top stories from the week.
🎁 CFE PTO has your holiday card solution | They’re hosting a fundraiser through Minted. Check out all the details on the site and get their discount code to save money on your holiday cards!
🚅 Ditch your car for the train car | We have fantastic access to so many great cities in the Northeast via the Wilmington train station. I took the train up to a conference in Boston and shared more details. Ditch your car and skip TSA. I think you’ll love it!
🚗 No current line of sight to Vision Zero in Chadds Ford | The Chadds Ford township Planning Commission voted not to adopt Vision Zero Delco, a county-wide traffic safety framework. Read on for details about their decision and how they reached it.
Another food drive, but with a special treat
We’ve seen lots of food drives lately in light of SNAP benefits being (temporarily) turned off. Chadds Ford Democrats are hosting their food drive at Oso Sweet on Saturday, Nov 15, from 9 am – 12 pm. Oso Sweet will have a limited-edition treat available for purchase when you stop by! Details in the flyer below!

Got extra coats?
Action Potential Physical Therapy is hosting a coat drive from November 10 – 26. They also accept hats, gloves, and socks. Please drop off donations at any of their locations (Glen Mills, Media, or Kennett Square). The Glen Mills location, closest to Chadds Ford, is 1786 Wilmington W Chester Pike, Suite 200A.
Aren’t these Make and Sip events the coolest?
Kennett Library is hosting seasonal Make-and-Sip events. For a fee, you can host a holiday party, birthday party, or other event in one of the library’s maker spaces and get creative with friends and family. The Magic of Wool felting party looks really neat!
👣 Hike of the Week 🥾
We’re hitting up Collman Meadow Trail in Concord Township this week. Head over to Connect Chadds Ford for the complete profile!

Here are a few other events you might want to add to your calendar. Several require registration in advance. Double-check dates and times in case they’ve changed since I shared.
