There’s a hot new chick in town.

Get your mind out of the gutter. I’m talking about spicy chicken. 🍗 Welcome Hot Clucks to the ‘burbs. Our ‘burb! We should feel pretty special, because this is only the third location and the first one outside the city.

Hot Clucks is a Nashville hot chicken joint started in Philly in 2023. They serve fried chicken, fries, custom sauces, milkshakes, and a variety of fancy lemonades. My blackberry lemonade was delish.

My family loves spicy chicken sandwiches, so they’re amateur connoisseurs of sorts when it comes to quality and taste. I tend to be indifferent toward these jawns, but this sandwich was solid. Notably, it wasn’t greasy, which feels like a Herculean feat for fried chicken (but what do I know).

The verdict? We will definitely go back.

Decent food takes time to prepare (even though it’s a fast casual atmosphere), so be ready to wait 5 to 10 minutes for your food. Good things are worth waiting for.

Hot Clucks is located at 391 Wilmington Pike in Glen Mills. It’s in the shopping center in the middle of 202 with UPS, Sports Clips, Sherwin-Williams, and other spots. You know the one. 😉 If you stop in, let me know what you think.
