Ridley Creek State Park

🚗 Parking at Ridley Creek State Park always feels like a challenge to me, not because parking is hard, but the GPS always takes me to some wonky spots. I find it’s easiest to park near the Mansion, so I dropped the pin there for the location information above. If you have other parking secrets, drop them in the comments. Don’t keep that juicy info to yourself! 😉

⚡If you have an electric vehicle, there are two EV chargers in the parking lot!

👣 There are lots of paths (check out the list here on the State Park website). A few are paved, and most are gravel, but they’re all very well-maintained. Some paths have quite a bit of elevation, so check the difficulty before choosing an option that fits your preferences.

💚 Ridley Creek State Park is definitely more than one trail, so this week’s “Hike of the Week” is a hefty one. You’re welcome. 😁 I love how many options there are. It’s large enough to feel like you’re deep in nature while being just a few miles from all the strip malls and suburban houses.
