What do you get when you mix wine and yoga? 🍷 +🧘🏻♀️ Drunk yoga? Maybe.
This past weekend, however, The Yoga Space Chadds Ford and Chadds Ford Winery married the two for a much classier combo than tipsy triangles and giggling down dogs. I’d call it the sangria of Chadds Ford collabs: booze with a good-for-you twist.

The two local businesses welcomed 21 neighbors to a sold-out 21+ fireside yoga sesh on Saturday, December 13, at the winery. It was perfectly cozy for the wintry weekend. After the meditative mat work, everyone enjoyed a glass of wine from our hometown vintner.
Rachel Doucette, resident and owner of The Yoga Space Chadds Ford, envisions her studio as a hub for community building and connection. The new(ish) general manager at Chadds Ford Winery continues to revitalize the winery’s community-focused events as well. This collaboration proved a perfect match. The sommelier rated this pairing 10/10. ✨

Attendees agreed that this was a fun and refreshing way to see local businesses support one another. Doucette noted that about half of the attendees were studio members, while the other half traveled from neighboring towns (even as far as New Jersey) for the wine-and-yoga event.
I love seeing our local small businesses work together to strengthen and uplift each other. It’s even better when they bring in friends and dollars from outside the community to support our hyper-local economy and help our entrepreneur neighbors realize their dreams.
The cozy collaboration was such a swirling success that the organizers plan to host similar events each month in 2026. They’re working on events for mid-January, Galentine’s, the spring equinox, and more. Dates coming soon! I’ll be sure to include them in the Connect Chadds Ford Events Directory!
This event sold out, and future events will likely reach capacity as well. When tickets for their future yoga and wine collabs go on sale, don’t let your intentions to sign up ferment, or you might turn into sour grapes. 🍇
